Determination of mycotoxins
Mycotoxins are metabolic products released by mold fungi (microscopic fungi) that can contaminate feed and cause serious health issues for animals. They can vary in type depending on the species of mold fungus, and their impact depends on how much of these substances enter the animal's body. Mycotoxins can reduce animal productivity, weaken their immune system, and cause various diseases, so it is important to ensure that the feed is tested and safe. Our laboratory conducts reliable quantitative mycotoxin testing in feed using a modern enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) method, based on the antibody-antigen reaction. Microplates with antigens allow for the accurate and rapid determination of harmful substances in the feed.
