Quality management system

JSC “Pieno tyrimai” Laboratory conducts physico-chemical and microbiological tests of raw milk samples, calibration of laboratory piston volume measuring devices, digital thermometers, manual scales, electronic and mechanical milk meters, and perform inspection activities, which includes measuring devices metrological verification. The laboratory management system is intended to establish and implement policies and objectives in laboratory activities. The activities carried out in the laboratory are constantly improved in order to achieve the set goals and effectiveness of any implemented improvements is regularly evaluated. In order to provide only high-quality testing and calibration services, inspection activities, the laboratory adheres to the principles of impartiality, objectivity, competence and confidentiality in its activities and laboratory top management undertakes:

• follow good professional practice,
• always perform testing, calibration and inspection by the methods stated and comply with the customers demands,
• strive for customer satisfaction with quality performance of laboratory activities,
• assimilate and implement new methods, update equipment,
• bring all the employees together for the pursuing of the quality policy, enhance their awareness of the significance of the customers requirements as well as the requirements of the regulating legislation,
• strive for harmonious sustainable co-operation among the divisions and departments of the enterprise,
• systematically organize personnel qualification improvement and employee training courses in the process of assimilation of new methods and technologies,
• involve all the enterprise partners and customers into pursuing the enterprise's laboratory quality policy,
• develop and implement the quality management system, which corresponds to the requirements of the international standards LST EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 and LST EN ISO/IEC 17020:2012, and continually improve its effectiveness,
• maintain management system integrity during planning and implementation of the system changes,
• continually set specific aims and objectives as well as the criteria for their evaluation in pursuing this policy with the allocation of all necessary resources for the purpose.
